Be Fashionable with Staple Make-up Trends for Fall 2016
If you are an authentic fashionista, you will not only embrace changes in your wardrobe every season with new trends, but also changes in your makeup palette and style, according to the new seasonal trends.
We study all major beauty trends each season, as they are presented during all major Fashion Weeks in New York, London and Paris. We show you how to make your beauty palette irresistible, to work for you from the office to a night on the town, and everywhere else in between, matching your lifestyle.
For many years, until today, spider eyelashes were the worst fashion horror story imaginable, but times change, and so do trends. Today, on the Christian Dior runway, models proudly display beams of densely dyed and glued on eyelashes. Would you like to explore this look? They are very easy to create, as the new mascara from Maybelline “Colossal Spider Effect Mascara” can be applied to the upper and lower lashes, exactly like at the Dior show, or just on top lashes, as at the Jason Wu show, creating a careless and effortless look for this fall.
Now you do not have to wait for Christmas or New Year’s Eve to shine. Apply glitter and shimmer safely and with confidence for your every day look or evening escapades. An unusual, but very creative solution, is to apply a soft line of glitter under the eyebrows, as at the Giambattista Valli show, using glitter eyeliner by KIKO.
For daring fashionistas, we recommend a brave approach by Emanuel Ungaro: generously apply pink liner by MAC over the entire eyelid.
Another way to show off your awareness of the latest beauty trends is to paint something daringly graphic [on your eyes?], as we observed at the Marc Jacobs and Kenzo shows. Unusual and certainly very black arrows are popular this season. You can achieve this look using eyelid marker Kat Von D Tattoo Liner. In order to portray an even, smooth line over your eyelid, before you paint, apply a sticky tape in a form of a stensil.
It is the trendiest lip shade for this fall, and whether to have a glossy or matte effect is totally up to you and what you prefer! Inspired by the Rodarte show, such lipstick can be obtained from NARS cosmetics, in Ingrid shade of rich blueberries.
Crazy Smoky Eyes
Forget everything you know about how to make classic smoky hues, and turn your fantasy around using all the brightest colors. Do not hesitate, apply all the way up to your eyebrows and use stencils. This look is inspired by the Chanel show, where models’ eyes were super exaggerated and very smoky! You can find these shadows at Urban Decay, and they are very pigmented and long lasting!
I wish all you dear fashionistas would embrace this fall in all its glory! Stay sexy, fashionable and irresistible!
