This season, fashion is fierce, commanding, dynamic, and enterprising. So, get the wardrobe ready that allows you to move into new territory with an open mind.
In terms of color, red is everywhere. Red connects you to your strength and kindles your urge to go after new and unexplored trends. You can feel totally confident wearing a Magda Butrym fire engine red blazer, paired with high heel ankle boots. As for holiday party attire, shine on in sexy Cushnie et Ochs chilli-pepper red dress matched with red snakeskin heels by Kendall Miles. As the days get cooler, stay warm with romantic prints.
Gold is the accent color this fall. Whether it’s a gold pattern, gold accent piece, or gold glitter makeup touches, you cannot go wrong with it. A great way to show off your style is by wearing the J.W. Anderson black and gold chain bag. This versatile crossbody can be paired with just about anything, for day or night. Black and gold are intellectually energizing when paired together, and SAU’s black and gold gown combines classic and intrigue.
Nothing screams fall more than a regal, golden floral print. One of my favorites is Magda Butrym’s short floral dress with a hood. It’s perfect for a day of shopping with the girls or a casual dinner with friends. It combines comfort and fashion with a touch of mystery.
Women are not the only ones sporting floral this fall. Junya Watanabe’s blue button down shirt with floral sleeves is an eye-catching statement for men. Pair this shirt with fitted Sandro grey slim pants for a killer ensemble.
This autumn, men in classic suits with accent ties express power and style. Look suave in a light grey Hugo Boss suit, and spruce it up with a purple patterned shirt and tie. Purple has become a go-to color for men this season. Pair this look with Angela Mitchell’s dark purple dress shoes, which subtly add a pop of color to any outfit. Keep it plain and simple never goes out of style. You cannot go wrong with Sandro’s blue jacket and pants, paired with a white Theory button down shirt. This look is professional with a modern twist.
When shopping for new clothes this season, remember to think bold. Spicing up a simple outfit with a pop of detail or a pop of color is the key to looking fly this season. As the leaves start changing color and the air becomes crisp, allow your wardrobe to reflect these changes with a multitude of fabrics and colors.
