Being a dedicated foodie, I always explore new places where to eat. Brooklyn is the locus of New York’s dining and nightlife scene, especially Williamsburg, where I reside.

When it comes to progressive dining, Redondo Beach isn’t the first on most people’s mind but in the past two years the team at Gabi James have been able to introduce Spanish and French flavors to the neighborhood with extraordinary execution.

Williamsburg is a trendy-hip neighborhood with plenty of hipster cool: This once warehouse-filled industrial area now has a thriving arts and music scene. Discover stellar restaurants, some of the city’s most interesting shopping spots, countless bar options, live music venues and super-colorful people watching scene. On Sunday after brunch, the new Domino Park or McCarren Park are perfect for people watching or a quick game of kickball or soccer.

Chef Baxtrom has swooned the hearts and taste buds of Prospect Heights, Brooklyn with his new eatery, Olmsted. At Olmsted, one can nourish all their senses and feed their soul.

Los Angeles is home to a variety of cuisines. However, when it comes to Peruvian food, each dish is a work of art. To fully embody its authenticity, every bite must be made with finely crafted detail. Brothers Jorge, Eduardo, and Walter Rodriguez (who grew up just south of Lima) began their culinary journey roughly 20 years ago, which eventually led to Los Balcones making its mark in Hollywood.
